I have been taking photographs for most of my life and have been witness to quite a change in technology from old film cameras to iPhones and the internet. I love my iPhone because it is a great camera that I always have with me and can snap a photo on a whim. I find myself sometimes stopping and noticing an interesting view or POV when I am walking somewhere, not even thinking about photography. I have learned to trust these moments as they have resulted in some great images.
I have been working on time lapse photography for a couple years now but just started wide angle Milky Way time-lapse and astrophotography with a refractor telescope recently (2019).
I was introduced to the art of time-lapse and astrophotography through various sites on the internet (Vimeo for example) and was blown away by what I saw. This inspired me to try to learn how to create these types of images for myself.
As I have started showing images to family, friends (and even strangers who come up and ask what I am doing), they all have asked the same question - "Do you have your work posted online so I can check it out?". I created this site to respond to these requests.
I'm the one in the middle with the camera. (Not sure what the funny face was all about - it was a long time ago).
